Actually flying in the glider was an amazing experience.
If you can go early in the week you might find a Mon/Tues coupon in some of the coupon books available around, but even at full price an experience not to miss. | |

While the parasailing adventure was fun and well-executed, their experience with the captain video recording their trip was not satisfactory. Capt. Shane offered to record their trip on a mini disc for a fee. The kids paid him directly, but the disc was not playable. When they sought a refund, KHK told them that the refund could only come from Capt. Shane. At KHK's request, the couple left contact information and a mailing address for the refund. In brief, the captain never contacted them, nor did he issue a refund. We made a follow-up call to KHK. Once again we left contact information, and again no return call. While the price of the recording was relatively nominal ($20), the fact that the captain did not finalize the disc properly (thus stripping my son and his girlfriend of a very special momento) and then did not make good on the refund promised displays a total lack of consideration for the clients of KHK and its associated parasailing operation. The final blow was the fact that my son and his girlfriend even tipped Capt. Shane about $20 extra to thank him, just to be snubbed by him later. Beware of this scam. | |
