I kick-off my Christmas shopping every year in this store in the Fall. The gifts are unusual and frequently one of a kind; nothing mass produced here. The store owner has amazing taste and creativity in her selection of stuff. To me, the real treat is the cards - not anything you'd find in a chain store. I myself find the help engaging, unusual and quite interesting people. Most years, they have spent a lot of time talking with me and showing me stuff when I ask about a specific design or a theme. Last year, I was looking for a star necklace and the salesgirl showed me every star in the place, including the items that hadn't been put out on display. I love this place. | |

The one thing that bugs me every year is that the salespeople basically ignore you. They never say anything to you when you walk in and they never offer to help you while you're shopping, even if you spend 10 minutes looking at something in the jewelry case. This last time I was in the store, there were 2 salespeople and they BOTH acted like I wasn't even there. They just continued their personal conversation and never once said hello or asked me if I needed help. Service could definitely use a leg up. | |
