Hsve been going for many years and it has ALWAYS been great. I have never had a bad experience here. The ribs are great, the black bean soup is perfect, so is the bird's nest. The pina coladas transport you to the Caribbean. The staff is wonderful. The only downside is that too many people already know how great it is. Thank God that those of us blessed to own a home in the OBX can go frequently in the off-season.

We have been going to OBX for 25 years and to this restaurant for approx 10 and have always been pleased. We usually go to OBX in the spring, fall and winter for a week each time and always make it a point to go to North banks. The food is always well cooked and fresh. The selection is pretty extensive and the wait staff has always been very friendly and courteous, one of them even reconizes us when we go in. You must remember that this is not a fancy restaurant and the seeting is limited, but if you want good food, I would recommend this restaurant.

Bartender was extremely rude when there was a misunderstanding about our seating arrangements. Manager was also very rude when we were trying to explain what happened. Prices were very high and the negative comments by the bartender & manager made us never want to return to this restaurant.

I hate to tell people how good it is the lines are long enough. Food is wonderful. Limited seating.
