It was very refreshing to find such a great place in Corolla, as many believe the best food is found at the much pricier Duck restaurants. The crabcakes were absolutely mouthwatering; I wasn't a huge fan of the corn salsa served with them, but the remoulade the server recommended was a great twist on the traditional tartar sauce. The tuna was also exceptional. The prices are a bit high (expect to pay $75-$100 for two), but this was indeed the best meal we had during our latest visit. The restaurant is also very child-friendly, as it is quite loud during the dinner rush. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. | |

Every bite was delicious, from the bbq shrimp appetizer through Mike's famous crabcakes and ending with ''Chocolate Decadence''. An extremely versatile wine list accompanied our gustatory expedition. Is was a bit on the noisy side, but crowds are what you should expect at The Grill Room. Word has obviously spread about the ''Top of the Banks'' Eatery that is Mike Dianna's. | |

It was USDA Prime and grilled over a real mesquite wood fire, most places broil the steak and add butter. My wife had the crab cakes and they were awesome too. The wine list was amazing and the service was professional, friendly and knowledgable. My best dining experience on the Outer Banks so far. | |
