Owners are very nice and hospitable. The food is fantastic. I frequent the Bad Bean at least twice a week. This is a must do if you are in the area.

The staff is willing to customize your order too. The fish tacos are the best on the beach. Even the in-laws were impresssed! Places like this make us glad we live here.

After just 2 times going in there, they already knew my name and remembered me from then on. I usually get the chicken burrito and it is huge. I have never been able to eat more than half in one sitting. I go every time I am in Corolla.

The Bad Bean Restaurant serves nouveau mexican food in a small cafe atmosphere. I had the special of the day, a mahi mahi buritto. The fresh fish was tender on the inside with crispy bits on the outside and wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Also inside the burrito were perfectly seasoned black beans and rice along with veggies. Served with homemade salsa (yes, you could actaully taste the fresh tomatoes and herbs) this burrito was huge and the taste was just as big as the burrito! I ordered the jimaca slaw on the side and it was crispy with a hint of lime and cilantro. I loved every bite although I had to take home half of the burrito. Two chefs own the restaurant and they run the place as well. This restaurant is an absolute jewel among the small town of Corolla. This was well worth the drive.
