3rd Annual Tree Lighting Celebration
Saturday, December 12, 2009 - Saturday, December 12, 2009 (5pm - 6pm)
The Lawn at Currituck Heritage Park (1100 Club Road/NC Highway 12): See the giant cedar tree in Currituck Heritage Park and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse simultaneously illuminated. Gather on the north lawn to enjoy free hot chocolate and sing carols. Following the lighting ceremony, the Whalehead Club will offer complimentary docent-led holiday tours to show off the decorations inspired by the 1920's etchings of Edward Collings Knight, Jr.
Holiday Piano Concert at The Whalehead Club

Library of The Whalehead Club (1100 Club Road/NC Highway 12): Festivities continue in the Library of the Whalehead Club with a Holiday Piano Concert. Listen to Mrs. Knight's custom-made Steinway Grand Piano positively come alive as it did over a century ago!
Tickets for the concert are $35 per person and include a dessert reception during the intermission.
