After going to practicaly every closed or no vacancy motel in hatteras(first time to outer banks). Our luck lighthouse view was open, it was such a relief. But to make a long story short. We took my f-150 on the beach at s-turns, and we cracked the radiator on the beach after we got stuck on the wet sand. I'm no mechanic, so i was pretty clueless, so the maintenance man jim sat there and showed us that we melted the plastic drain plug. then he pointed across the street to the red drum and said go grab the part over there and i'll help you fix it. jim helped us fix it and sent us off with a buch of 5 gallon buckets full of water. so many people looked at us like look at these yankees. jim was actualy from south jersey, so he knew what we were going through. We were highly impressed with the value for our money. Paying only a little bit more than Hotel rates we found this location had so much to offer for our dollar. We will definitely be returning. | |

Wonderful rooms and homes to choose from to fit almost any size group. The rates are very reasonable. You get much more for your $$$$ than any other in Buxton can provide. Superb service, beautiful views and very comfortable accomodations. We plan to stay at Lighthouse View every time we visit Buxton NC!
