Buxton Beach Motel is located on the oceanside within a mile of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. All rooms are ground level and have porches (some are screened) and each room is air conditioned and has a TV, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and private bath with shower.

This original Hatteras style motel features outdoor grills and a fish cleaning station for their guests. Freezers for all those fish you catch are available. There is a coin op laundry facility.

Best of the Beach

This is the only place we have ever stayed. Buxton Beach Motel is the most relaxed place to be any time of the year. We stay in the same efficiency every time we come,unless some one comes with us. Then we get a 2-bdrm. Judy and David are wonderful hosts as well as owners. We fish most of the time,and having close access to the Beach driving as well as walking up the road, gives staying her a big advantage over other places we've passed by. The ''cottage cats'' are really cool,too. Rest, relaxation and easy living couldn't be more enjoyable than when we are here. Reasonable rates and everything within walking distance is just gravy added on.

Buxton Beach Delight

Our family has been staying at the Buxton Beach Motel for nearly 40 years! As a child I remember staying in the very same cottage we stay in today. Its comfortable, clean and a quick walk to the beach. What more could we ask for. The management are friendly and do a wonderful job keeping the units up to date. The location is perfect. You can walk to restaurants, gas station, grocery and gift shops. We like to ride bikes in the evenings and theres plenty of back roads close by for exploring. When were here on vacation, we expect simplicity and thats what we get!
