My favorite place, besides the beach!

We've been visiting this wonderful book store for years and have never been disappointed. In today's world, it's not easy finding a privately owned book store. Thank goodness for Buxton Books - wish we had one in our town up here in the North Country.

There's plenty of new releases, plus regional writers, and a very large collection of used books which is also great.

The owner is friendly, smart and very helpful. 5 stars isn't good enough!

Gee Gee really knows her stuff and has recommended many books to me that I will love forever. She has just the perfect blend of available items in her store. Don't wait for a rainy day to go!

Books in Buxton

This cute and unique little book store has all of the bestsellers, used books and then some. Kids books are plentiful. The service is wonderful - and they have great hours, too! Don't judge a ''building'' by its cover because you would never believe how wonderful it is inside! I can always come here for a wonderful beach read or even summer reading for my school. Become a book worm as soon as you cross the threshold!
