One of those stores that vacationers can't wait to return to each year, this store is located in an historic island home. Inside is tons of treasures and gifts, much of it handcrafted. The selection includes Christmas decorations, baskets, wreaths, cross-stitch, woodwork, birdhouses, dolls, knickknacks, potpourri, plants, garden statuary, birdbaths, shells and much more.

we go to the Gray house every year on vacation. favorite place to find treasures. children love the shells and items also, maybe more than mom. very nice owners.

this was one of the coolest parts of our trips to Buxton. Definately one of the best places we found. Not touristy and overplayed. The owner is awesome! we'll definately be back.

Thank you for sharing your rosemary, and starfish, beautiful windchimes, sand dollars and such. I was so glad we found you...your picture is in the mail!!! Now we know why people come back year after year!!

Great History and Buys

The shop is terrific. The history that has been incorporated into the display and walk around outside are one of the best on the island for local history and enviromental information.
