For eighteen years I have been going to Buxton with my family, they've been going down for almost 25, but every single year we go to Cool Wave. It's a great little ice cream place but it has a big variety and friendly serivce.Plus they have mini golf for famlies.

Its become a yearly tradition!

Every year my family vacations on Hatteras Island, and every year we always take a night and go the the Cool Wave Icecream Shoppe. I have to say that a trip wouldn't be complete for me if we didn't stop in and get icecream. The service is always great and the icecream is delicious!
