As far as fish houses go, this is the real thing -- a former fish house right on Buxton Harbor, where fishing boats unload their catches. The restaurant is incredibly charming, with sloping floors, fabulous harbor and water views, a mark on the wall from the last flood, and dining right on the dock. Steamed seafood is a specialty (with hush puppies and veggies on the side), though landlubber entrees are available too. Lunch and dinner are served at this casual place.

The Flounder was perfect, not too bready and they practically give you the entire fish. There were locals eating there when we were there so you know it has to be good! They have the most awsome pasta salad that comes with the meals, and the Key Lime Pie was scrumptious, be sure to take a slice home, cause you will be too full to eat it there. | |

Don't let the paper plates and plastic silverware fool you - they know what they are doing! Fish and seafood are served here ... my favorite is the seafood pasta. Yum!
