Conveniently located across from the entrance to the lighthouse, Finnegan's serves lunch and dinner. The lunch menu features U-boat sandwiches, burgers, pizza, great appetizers and more. The dinner menu adds seafood, beef and other entrees. Beer and wine are offered. Finnegan's is open year round but is closed on Wednesdays in the off-season.

Some of us had been eating seafood all week so we were hungry for hot dog's, pizza, and Nacho's. All exquisitely delicious and prepared with flair. Others craved seafood and were pleasantly surprised by their choices despite the abundance of competition. The hour drive from Kitty hawk was well worth it, even without the amazing scenery. The server was attentive and management was refreshingly gracious. Us Northerners aren't used to that level of hospitality. Good work folks! We look forward to visting every chance we get. | |

The service is sometimes a bit slow, but the atmosphere is relaxing and usually quiet. There are trivia cards at the table for you to play while you wait for your food. Great restaurant! | |
