Ocracoke is small and only has a local and limited grocery selection. We always travel to this Food Lion grocery store to stock up. The selection is as great as we find on the mainland and the employees are very friendly. I was looking for specific beach gear that I wondered if they carried and the young man was very friendly and helpful and yes I was able to get all of the stuff that I wanted right there at one location. That saved more time for us for being on the beach. I've only been there during the peak season and the shelves have always been well stocked and although there are many people using the store the cashieers keep the lines moving quickly. | |

They are the cleanest store on the beach and have very friendly and prompt service. The shelves are always stocked and they take their time to help out their customers.
