Frank & Fran's is home of the World Record Red Drum! Also known as the Fisherman's Friend because it offers everything an angler could need, including fine cigars for those times when the bite is slow. They sell bait and tackle, fishing supplies, ice and much more. Get fishing advice, and information on Cape Hatteras Anglers Club tournaments. Frank and Fran's is an official weigh station.

They offer a variety of fishing and weather reports to keep you informed during your fishing trip. The store is open 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Great Services, Great People

I went in the other day to get some Surf fishing supplies and i got some round wieghts and Mr. Frank told me that they would just drag on the bottom and that i needed to get some Pyrimid Weights Mr. Frank Is a very helpfull person so when your in avon Stop by his store and so buissness with him. he will treat you right.

If you want the real scope of the Banks, from fishing, to cigars, or advice from just some plain great people, Franks & Frans is a must.

Everything for fishing and more !

If you need fishing equiptment do yourself a favor and get it here. The staff is friendly and can fit you with the equiptment you need. They have bait, shirts, hats, drinks, food , fishing license and a fish tale or two. One year we had some of our poles stolen and Frank got us back on our feet with a discount. He did not have to do this we would have had to buy more equiptment anyway. But this is the kind of person he is towards the visitors.You can never go wrong at Frank and Frans.
