We enjoyed the 25 cent wings. I had a great burger, with what I call ''real'' french fries and my husband had one of the flat sandwiches with tuna, olives and feta cheese. There was enough for lunch the next day! This restaurant came recommended by one of my husband's customers, who is a local. I don't think he steered us wrong.

It was great and we really had a good time. This time however the staff and folks at the bar were rude, actually acted as though they were doing us a favor by waiting on us. By the time the food arrived it looked as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. This place isn't cheap.. Needless to say we won't be back.

My wife and I stopped by for breakfast and was directed to a high (bar type) table in the corner, when we asked to sit a a low table the waitress told us that was all she had for us because they get very busy on Sunday and all the open lower tables are for (4) people. This wouldn't have been a problem, however, their was another couple (2 people), sitting at a low table for (4). When we asked why they were sitting at a table for (4) she again stated that the high table or the bar was all she had for us and we could leave otherwise.... Sad to say, she was having a bad day or has never heard of the saying the customer is always right in the service business. - Disappointing to say the least.

His meal costed a whopping $3.00 and he really enjoyed it. You can't beat that value. The service was good as well.

It was about a 9oz steak with potatoes & veggies for $9.99. The food was cooked right & tasted great. The service was friendly and helpful. Check the wine list also.

This had to be the worst tasting food I have ever ate. For 2 orders of biscuits and gravy, one ham, egg, and cheese biscuit and three drinks, it was $29. Could barely finish because it was so bad! Good thing we hadn't eaten since the day before!!

Their sanitation score, we noticed, was only 91.0. It just didn't feel clean and wasn't satisfying. Disappointed - we love breakfast. The service was friendly, though, and the OJ was good.

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | Great for lunch or dinner! | | By LoveTheCoast on 4/29/2007 | | The lunch-time salads are superb, as are the burgers. The seared tuna app is the best I've had anywhere. The staff are down to earth and fast with a beer. Small setting means it can get loud, but the atmosphere is great, esp. the bar. | |

We had walked in on some karaoke and took in the many versions of songs that the other patrons had put their own twist on. We loved the quaint beachy feel of the lounge and do plan on revisiting one of my favorite places in the OBX next summer. I really recomend taking your party to the Oceana's for a great time.
