My family and I vacation in the OBX every year. Last year we came across Uglie Mugs. And what a find. They have a wide variety of drinks and they are happy to make you anything you ask for. Lines can be long at certain times of day..but that's a good thing! Good drinks, good service. Can't wait for our vacation in 2009

The owner came back to the shop after closing and let me in so I could print my airline boarding passes off their internet service. This service was way above our expectations. They have earned our business!!! Patronize this customer friendly business.

Am a beader but found this shop by accident while looking for a coffee shop near our hotel in Oct 06. Mugs were a bit pricey but felt the beads/supplies comparable to the bigger mainland city where I live so I was tickled pink. Two birds with one stone! Mocha latte great too. Will return in a few weeks and this is a definite on my list of ''to visit'' places.

My son was in the process of buying his first home while we were on vacation. he had to fax some paperwork, so we went here.
The young lady was very helpful getting this taken care of. We didn't try the coffee, maybe next year, but the service was great.

Everything is amazing about this coffee and bead shop.It is so humble and cozy, and the coffee is refreshing and delicious.For children and adults who do not like coffee,there are smoothies available that taste great.The art is also very fascinating,I love coming to this place,I definitely reccomend Uglie Mugs.

If you don't like coffee, but you thought it was such a nice coffee shop, then you should try the cloud nine. While you're drinking, you can also get internet access on your own computer for a very low price.

This is a great little coffee place. The cinnamon buns were some of the best I've ever had...not excessively sweet like many. The muffins and coffee were also very good. Highly recommended as a place to start your morning.

Loved going there first thing in the morning for good chai and the best cinnamon buns. The local people were friendly and full of knowledge about the town and history. For first time visitors I recommend visiting the ugly mug coffee house for a unique experience. Not only is the atmosphere neat in the presentation of jewelry, funny coffee mugs, and beatiful photography of the surrounding area but have some good looking locals.
