''This was one of the places that was on my ''Must See'' list. It did not disappoint. The stories of the rescues were very interesting and seeing the house and the kitchen building like it would have been back then was a lot of fun. We did not get to tour the original 1874 station because it was damaged from a lightning strike. I definitely recommend visiting if you're going to the Outer Banks....''
''We had a lot of fun here! The musuem was very interesting and educational. There were many exhibits on the colonists and the Native Americans they encountered. They also had a film ab...''

This is one of the few homes on the Outer Banks that has...''

Museum offered ''Back Porch'' talks that were sometimes informational and often fun. The week we were there they offered storytelling two days with storytellers attending Donald Davis' National Storytelling Workshop....''
