It did not disappoint. The stories of the rescues were very interesting and seeing the house and the kitchen building like it would have been back then was a lot of fun. We did not get to tour the original 1874 station because it was damaged from a lightning strike. It's a great family outing, but can become crowded in season. The guides only allow less than 10 people at a time to tour the lighthouse. Best time to visit is right after a rain storm...it's deserted!...''
