| Breathtaking Views without the Food to Match | | By a Guest Reviewer | | We had high expectations in bringing our out of town guests to a nice beachfront restaurant with a reputation for good food. I must say that everything was wonderful until the main course was served. Each of the four fish entrees was very overcooked and dry whether it was sauteed, baked or broiled. Just a bad night in the kitchen ?? I hope so, because the view is spectacular if only the food could keep pace. We won't be going back. | |

The Oceanic was the first place I'd go just to sit and break away from it all. I believe the ocean has a healing effect and sitting at The Oceanic on Saturday or Sunday mid morning sipping a mamosa is the best way to ''heal''. The salmon is great and sitting out on the pier is the BEST. I can't wait to get back this summer- missing North Carolina ONLY because I'm so far away from the Oceanic! | |

The wait staff are fast and friendly, the food is to die for (I recomend the oysters), and it's not all that expensive. I've been there a couple times now and no matter how busy or slow, I never went without something to drink. | |
