| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | Fabulous! | | By frequent WB diner on 6/22/2008 | | We have dined here twice, the first time being great and the second even better. The calamari is the best we've ever had. Service is attentive but not pushy. 6 people all loved every entree (salmon was wonderful). We eat out often at WB, and put this above all other local hot spots. Top of the list for flavorful fresh seafood with flair. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | June 18, 2008 | | By Illinois tourist on 6/19/2008 | | My husband and I were fortunate to dine at Buoy 32 while visiting the Wilmington area. Chef Eric and his staff provided us with a most memorable dining experience. Our feast began with homemade biscuits topped with cinnamon butter. Delicious. Next, we shared the coconut shrimp appetizer which we found to be outstanding. The biggest treat came with our main dish. We had difficulty deciding what to order but decided on the grouper dish following Chef Eric's recommendation. We are certain it was the best fish we have ever eaten. It was fresh and prepared to perfection. The presentation was equally as tempting. We ended our extravaganza with Key Lime Pie. We cannot stop thinking about Buoy 32, the scrumptuous food and the helpful staff. We frequent the Wilmington area and will make Buoy 32 a must stop for every trip. | |

We shared the coconut shrimp appetizer and were both disappointed in it. Five medium-sized shrimp with a very light coconut-flavored batter was not worth $9. I, however, can't say enough about the yellow-fin tuna. It was the best ever including tuna that I had had while I lived in Japan. I substituted the smashed cauliflower for the potatoes and it was fantastic. The air condtioning was not working properly and it was very warm in the restaurant. We felt sorry for the patrons seated by the windows which faced west and received the full force of the setting sun . That had to have made things extremely warm and uncomfortable. In fact, two parties left the restaurant before being served. The food was very good however and we will return.

Not really knowing much about the place, we were a little hesitant. We've been to pretty much every restaurant in Wilmington and are very in to food. This place, for us, now joins the ranks of other greats in town. The food was delicious and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the oysters with spinach andouille cream sauce. They were amazing. One of the best appetizers I've ever had. My only disappointment was there were only four. We could have eaten a dozen! The iceberg wedge was fresh and the house made ranch and blue cheese was thick, creamy and delicious. Entrees were crab stuffed flounder with smashed potatoes and asparagus, and pan seared red fish (a replacement for grouper, since grouper fishing is temporarily on hold) with spicy shrimp and tomato sauce over mushroom risotto. In both cases, the fish was amazingly fresh and the sauces simply wonderful. The portions were just right, and for the first time ever, both of us devoured our entire plates. Thank you, Buoy 32, for our wonderful dinner. I'm still thinking about it today. We'll be back!

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | Supreme Cuisine | | By Guest on 3/25/2008 | | My girlfriend and I have eaten at all the top restaurants in Wilmington, and none compare to Buoy 32. We felt like judges for food networks Iron Chef. Appetizer, salad, entree, dessert... all perfectly executed, all plated picture perfect. Never seen seafood so fresh, the yellowfin melted like butter in my mouth. All the sauces and creams compliment the meals excellently. A true hidden gem of the island. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | Wonderful | | By beach lover on 3/11/2008 | | I found Buoy 32 to be a refreshing new establishment on the beach within an area with larger restaurants. The menu is wonderful and the flavors just pour out of the food as it is eaten. I have been with my wife and extend family twice now and will continue to go. The staff is friendly and the chef is great. He creates works of art with the food. He even came out to ask how the food was. Now that is a change in today's world. If you want great fresh food, service, and quality this is the place to eat at. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | Hats off | | By foodie on 2/6/2008 | | Hats off th Buoy 32. Never had seafood so fresh. I asked my waitress if the shrimp were frozen or local, not 15 seconds out walks the chef with a plate of the most vibrant blue with green and yellow tail head on shrimp I have ever seen He was even able to tell me what boat brought them in. I had a # of steamed shrimp and my neighbor had the 8 oz fillet with glazed carrots and smashed postatos. As a long time W.B. resident i can say ''finally, we have our David for the corporate turn and burn Goliaths.'' Buoy 32 represents the little guy making a big waves. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and will be back this week. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | Amazing | | By Guest on 1/31/2008 | | My boyfriend and I dined at Bouy 32 for my birthday and the food was sensational! I've never had a better seafood experience. The staff was also wonderful. I had the crab stuffed flounder served over smashed potatoes with asparugus and he had a trio of shrimp, scallops and crab cake with scalloped potatoes. We will certainly be back! | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | WoW | | By foodie on 1/16/2008 | | This restaurant is great. My wife and ate at Buoy 32 last night. We shared the bacon wrapped pork with apple puree sauce and the local crab stuffed flounder with lemon butter sauce and asparagus. We have been living on the beach for 26 years and have never had a finer meal. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | Best on the Beach | | By Guest on 12/28/2007 | | Great new place with incredibly tasty menu and the most attentive staff anywhere we have found on WB or in Wilmington. Eric both owns Bouy 32 and is the chef yet, more often than not, you will find him visiting your table to check on you. | |
