Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Review of Motel 6
By a Guest Reviewer
Since this was the first time we stayed in Motel 6, I found that the room was very clean and maid service was great. We did have a problem wit h the key which they were happy to fix for us, and there was plenty of security. The only thing that made me wonder was a sign outside in the parking lot that read, ''We are not responsible for damage to your car or property stolen. Please lock your car.'' So, that led us to believe they had some incidents in the past. This motel was on the end of Market Street so in order to get to the historic part of downtown Wilmington we didn't have to drive through the traffic, which was a plus. I would definitely go back.

Motel 6 left the light on!
By a Guest Reviewer
The staff was very helpful in getting us to the motel after becoming lost, Very friendly and patience!
The room was very comfortable and clean!
the air condition was adequate and with police patroling around the area I felt secure!
The motel was located just right for us as we had business on the waterfront and spent most of our time going to and from one to the other, a straight shot!

Will stay again when in the area!

Timely
By a Guest Reviewer
This was a last minute decision to go to the beach and I found it practical. Not only did they help me out on the computer, they also helped on the phone, even after I had to change to a handicap-accessible room.

Crime Scene
By a Guest Reviewer
This property was raided by the Police the day before I arrived, several boxes of stolen property were found in one of the rooms. As I inquired further, many of my friends and acquaintances noted that this property had been involved in other unsavory situations in the recent past and in some circles had the reputation as a ''hot sheet'' motel. I am seriously dissatisfied with this property

Inexpensive
By a Guest Reviewer
There was no doorsweep so debris (ie. leaf, dirt and pollen) came in easily, and we were given extra sheets to block the draft. It may be better now though, as they had begun remodeling all rooms while we were there.

Very very friendly experience at check-in and check-out
By a Guest Reviewer
The Motel 6 was very convenient and close to a lot of the amenities of Wilimington and close to downtown. The lady at the front desk made the experience even more pleasant.

Very unhappy
By a Guest Reviewer
We were not happy with the area the hotel was in, the room seemed dirty and smelled bad. We left and stayed somewhere else, because we were not comfortable staying there. We could not get our money back even after being there only a few hours.
