The staff was helpful to give us directions and help guide us towards the type places we wanted to visit and dine. The room and lobby were very clean. The breakfast was super. We stayed over a weekend, so we missed the complimentary snacks/drinks in the evening. The pool, jacuzzi, and grounds were also well kept. They even accomodated our large dog. (We took him to Fort Fisher Beach which is dog friendly.) We loved the suite, because there was a door between the living area and bedroom. We barely used the kitchen, but everything you need was there. The town was full of places to eat and shop-everything you could think of. We ate at the Blue Water and Fish House, both on the waterway right before Wrightville Beach. They were two miles from the hotel and had outside seating for a view of the water. We had a great experience and plan to return, hopefully in the fall! | |
| Very Accomodating | | By a Guest Reviewer | | I have been in the Hotel/Restaurant business in the past. Currently I hold a position as Director of Purchasing for a distributor in Maryland. If they lived in Maryland, I would love to hire the personnel working the front desk at the Marriott Wilmington Landfall. They were extremely accomodating, not only to me and my family, but to other guests of their hotel of which I overheard conversations. This was a sort of homecoming mini-vacation for my family and me. I have not been back ''home'' to the Wrightsville Beach area for thirty-five years. The staff at the Marriott Wilmington Landfall made my visit very pleasant. I do plan on returning | |
