| Smelly, Moldy Bathroom, Smelled like Smoke room in an Airport | | By a Guest Reviewer | | The room was what it was, a room! The price was OK, but unfortunately the cleanliess of the room and bathroom was lacking, especially the bathroom. If you were a college kid on spring break it probably would be OK, but those days are over for me. The location was convient to the downtown, but that was about the only plus to the room. | |

| Will not return | | By a Guest Reviewer | | I wondered why the price for this hotel was so much less than all the others in the area. The hotel appeared to be clean, but the buildings are so old. They seriously need to be updated. The bathrooms are done in browns. That really does not give off a clean feeling. The shower head was about eye level with me and I am 5'6''. So- that was a challenge. The mini fridge and microwave were handy. The TV had a good selection of shows. You had to ask for an iron, but they did not come take it back. We just returned it when we left and they didn't say anything. Overall- it was alright because it was the cheapest around, but I would probably not go back unless there were no other vacancies in the area. Next time I will squeeze out a few extra bucks for something better. | |

| Good Value | | By a Guest Reviewer | | The Motel is somewhat dated, but adequately maintained. Rooms are clean; neighborhood is good, and very accessible to Wilmington. A minimal breakfast is offered for free. Smoking rooms are available | |

| In Need of Repair | | By a Guest Reviewer | | The motel staff was pleasant to deal with, but the building itself is very run down. My room had broken glass in one of the windows, very worn carpet, leaking plumbing fixtures, etc. | |

| Convenient Location | | By a Guest Reviewer | | If you are visiting the city of Wilmington, North Carolina on a shoestring, I suggest staying at the Econolodge in Wilmington. It is very close to the historic downtown, restaurants, and shopping. It is a clean motel and a continental breakfast is included daily. | |
