My room was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, and the price was right. Granted, it is not the nicest hotel I have ever visited but then again I came for the beach and scenery, not the room service. I would recommend this hotel! | |

The pool and grounds were clean and the location is great for both beachs and surrounding areas.I would recommend this place to any family that wants a reasonable priced and safe place to stay in the Wilmington area. | |

We arrived late and had no problem with our reservations. I will stay here again if the need arises. I had no complaints about anything. The staff were very nice. | |

I would stay there again and everytime i came to wilmington. Needless to say as you can see my family was very pleased with this hotel. | |

The Inn is conveniently located near the highway and close to shopping, dining, and only minutues away from historic downtown Wilmington. Check-In and Check-Out were both quick and easy. I came in contact with 3 staff members whom were all very courteous and helpful. The room, while very basic, did feature a few amenities like complimentary coffee, an iron, TV, and was clean as a whistle. Continental breakfasts are offered during the morning and a free coffee bar is available 24/7. I would gladly stay at the Baymont in the future. | |

I was told that there were no exceptions...as many rooms had to be cleaned (I only needed 1 room :)) There are many other hotels/motels in the area, and the following week I stayed at a different one, for less money, yet the same amenities and level of value for the money, and they were absolutely wonderful...accommodating, willing to work with my schedule. I won't go back to the Baymont when others are more customer focused. | |

That alone is a major recommendation. On none of my sojourns at the Baymont Inn have I spent much time in my room so I can't assess it as a place to linger. I can say that the beds are comfortable, the space is adequate, but the lighting over the sink is hopelessly inadequate. Further random impressions: the housekeeping staff is pleasant and efficient; the pool is clean and pleasant; fruit is available 24 hours/day in the dining area near the office, a small bonus I appreciate. A visit or two ago, I left my glasses behind in our room. They were located and dispatched to my home address with admirable and loyalty-producing promptness | |

I especialy liuke the Books about the area that was in my room i was able to choose activities and museums while on a buisiness trip. My ultamate search for hotels is the wireless internet which they have and the entire stay was a success. I would stay there on my next visit to the area. | |

If you are visiting Wilmington and want to take advantage of both the beaches and the historic downtown, the Baymont is five miles from each. There are plenty of chain restaurants nearby, as well as a convenience store next door and shopping centers across the street. | |

The room was large, the beds were comfortable, and the area was very quiet. The two suggestions I have to improve the room would be a need for more substantial pillows on the beds and more comfortable chairs. | Hotel Stay for Family Reunion | | By a Guest Reviewer | Stayed from 7/21/2006- 7/23/2006, they only offered extensions for certain people. Beds were not changed. I had to dump my garbage out myself.

They didn't know how it got there and what it was, but told me everything was fine. Three days later an additional night's stay turned up on my [correct] credit card. I called and they didn't know what happened, but said they would issue a check in credit instead of crediting it to my card. This doesn't exactly work for me because I don't bank here so it will be tough to cash the check. Things could have been a lot worse, but this was a hassle I could do without and quite frankly, it was the first time I've ever experienced a hotel wrongfully billing me when they didn't know why and I have traveled A LOT. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience. | |
