''This was a nice hotel and in the neighbourhood of our appointments. It helps to have Kerr Rd to get to Oleander Drive and thus avoid the heavy traffic near the shopping centers. The partial room divider plus frig/microwave is always nice, especially in the heat of summer. The only problem we had was the fact that the room did not show as already having been paid . We paid again (cash) and are trying to get the second payment refunded....''
''the room was ok,but the night life in the hotel was crazy. we had teenagers across the hall they were partying all night, and we woke up to vomit at our door step we had to beg management to kick them out ....''

''Lovely innkeepers, wonderful property, fabulous breakfast. Very peaceful even though it is great location downtown. Hard to beat!...''
''Stayed there three times, stayed in the King Jacuzzi Suite. It is a real jacuzzi, not just a jetted tub. Most places just have jetted tubs that advertise jacuzzi rooms. It is an older hotel, but under new management, which has remodeled, ect. Rooms were always clean.Nice pool. Not bad for the price and location. Would recommend for a weekend away, but maybe not a long extended family vacation....''
''I recently stayed at this hotel because the prices were so much cheaper than the surrounding hotels. My room was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, and the price was right. Granted, it is not the nicest hotel I have ever visited but then again I came for the beach and scenery, not the room service. I would recommend this hotel!...''

''The room was what it was, a room! The price was OK, but unfortunately the cleanliess of the room and bathroom was lacking, especially the bathroom. If you were a college kid on spring break it probably would be OK, but those days are over for me. The location was convient to the downtown, but that was about the only plus to the room....''
''I usually visit Wilmington twice a month and stay the weekend. Ameristay has been overall the best for value and the best for amenities. This is one of the best hotels there. Nothing wrong with this place at all!!! The rooms were outstandingly clean and the service was awesome. Overall the value has been the best out there....''
''Hotels were scarce this summer weekend in Wilmington NC. Also, I didn't want to break the family piggy bank, so I felt staying in town in a a central location would be a fair compromise. I remembered Howard Johnson's from my childhood, it was one of the hotels my parents felt comfortable with. The price seemed reasonable, so we went for it. First of all Mapquest gave suspicious directions (they headed us out of town toward junk yards etc.) so I called the hotel, the receptionist gave very convol...''

''The Quality Inn Wilmington was very nice. I thought the room was particularly clean. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area with a long counter at the sink. There was a large, comfortable bed, a desk with chair, a suitcase stand, ironing board/iron, and ample space to hang clothes. There room wasn't any bigger than any other room I've stayed in (about average size); however, it was very comfortable. The hotel is in a good location with restaurants close by and not far from the beach or d...''

''We went for the golf package, it was nice to have some one else pick out the courses. No problem there. The hotel itself was not very nice. We went to the store and bought glue to fix the dresser drawers so we could put our clothes in them. We also got a small ironing board from the office that we had to glue together as it had a been broken. The room was clean but very run down. The pillows were flat and the carpet was pulling away from the wall in places. We did get a refrigerator and microwav...''
''This KOA is one of the pricier ones of the system. They will not let you book for a holiday unless you stay a 4 day minimum. The campground is too close to a mayor hwy and there is a lot of traffic noise. Not a peaceful place....''

''The courtyard by marriott was located perfectly , made my stay even more enjoyable. Very clean and private and somewhat reasonable. Would stay there again the next time i return to the area, as well as recommend it to friends and family. More than enough restaurants and shopping in the emediate area....''
''Dirty - Cockroach lying dead in restaurant. Chairs in hotel room stained and dirty. Carpet torn in bedroom. Comforters had holes in them. Bedroom ceiling was peeling. Ceiling tiles falling down over Ice Machines. Service - Asked for extra towels and was told there was noone who could deliver them to the room. Had to go to reception and pick them up. Location - Close to busy road & shops. Not very pretty. Value - Had a lot better for the money....''
''By dar, the most difficult 3- night stay I have ever had in a hotel. Yes- the view and location are great, but they were simply not enough to compensate for the inconvenience of my stay. My room was dirty (dust, not vacuumed, dirty floor) until I had to call on the second day to have it cleaned or changed! While they did, that is not something anyone should expericence. The TV channels were mostly info-mercials. And while there is much to do out of your room, a good comercial-free movie to unwin...''
