Lumina Winery is a small winery that prides itself on its dedication to the production of quality wines. The retail wine shop offers free wine tasting, wine by the glass, bottles of wine for sale and a variety of wine and beer making supplies. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Best Wine

I discovered Lumina Winery at a Wine festival. Most of the wineries in eastern North Carolina were there and I liked Lumina Winery the best. If you havn't tried them you are missing out. Everything that was said in the other reviews is completely true.

Great Experience!

I am new to wine and went in for a tasting. I was really comfortable asking ''dumb'' questions. The service was absolutely great and the owner really knows his stuff.

I really liked the Blackberry Cabernet and the Peach Apricot Chardonnay. They also make ice wine, which is REALLY good if you like dessert wine.

Friendly; Great Selection

I recently found Lumina Winery after searching all over town for a store that offered winemaking supplies. They have supplies for making your own wine and beer, as well as a great wine selection and wine tasting events. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Samples are available in the store - ask to try the Apple Riesling! Would definitely recommend!
