I always loved that downtown scenery and a grilled cheese sandwhich from New Liverpool!! As I got older, I even tried other things. Now to get my kids in there for a grilled cheese as my mom did me.

OK place to have lunch downtown

There's nothing spectacular about the sandwiches at New Liverpool. You could easily make the same ones at home, and the same goes for the fries, but that's probably why people keep going back. It has a comfortable ''homey'' feeling to the place, but I would prefer a little more pizazz. Prices are really only ''fair'' when you consider the ingredients. The sweet tea could use more tea flavor and less sugar flavor.
