We came down from Raleigh for a long weekend and were told about Main Street by our hotel. Upon entering I noticed the selection of beers upon the chalk boards around the restaurant. My friends and I were delighted to find out that they specialize in a great selection of micro and craft beers from all over the world. I ordered the Steak and cheese which was unbelievable. The bartender brought to my attention that they use smoked prime rib to make the sandwich and for a beef lover there is nothing better. the service was great and the food was perfect can't wait for my boss to send me back to try the new beers and enjoy a great meal

Not so Good!

We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. We started with onion rings (lightly battered but greasy and no flavor) and smoked chicken wings (these were good) and later ordered 2 hamburgers (inexpensive meat) that were dense with grease; 2 spinach salads that had a funny taste and not much to it, with a dressing that was so sweat that it was too heavy; sweat potato fries were cold and pulled chicken nachos with little flavor. The sweat tea wasn't very good either. It seemed that for all 5 of us to complain would have been a waste of time, as we consumed about ½ or less of our entrees.

Main street owns, its good ive been there quite a few times and it was awsome the Pulled Chicken Nachos are killer. TRY THEM ASAP. well i will definatley be going back, matter of fact im gonna order the pulled chicken burrito right now!! THNX MAINSTREET!

Main Street Brewing Company was wonderful for its atmosphere. Its not an uptight restaurant, look at its name...had these wonderful pretzel rolls as the buns for the hamburgers...never seen them in my life...I'm trying to figure out where to buy them! You should definitely try it out!!

I dined at Main Street Brewery this past weekend and was quite disappointed. I had to return 2 different mixed drinks to the bar as both tasted horrible....and they were ''basic'' mixed drinks. The service was fair...we had to wait about 10 -15 min before a waiter/waitress even came to our table....the food was ok.... the beer batter onion rings were good, and the brisket sandwich was good....the other food was not anything special. We will definately not return...

Main Street Brewing Company recently opened in Mayfaire Shopping Center. I went there last weekend to check it out and had a great time! Was pleasantly surprised to discover the brews are from downtown's Front Street Brewery. Now, I can have raspberry wheat beer without driving all the way downtown! The menu was also very good - had a great selection and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is casual and fun, and no smoking inside the entire restaurant/bar! Will definitely return. Thanks!
