Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

The Real Feel of the Continent--in NC
By a Guest Reviewer
Caprice Bistro promises to serve you delicious French food minus all the traditional stereotypes of French food (expense, fussiness, etc) and succeeds. My family recently celebrated a birthday there. While the food has necessarily been altered for ''American'' tastes, it loses none of authenticity. I enjoyed an amazing NY Strip steak cooked to medium-rare perfection with crushed bleu cheese on top. The meat melted in my mouth and I was full! My husband enjoyed mussels even better than what we had enjoyed in some famed unnamed restaurants in NY! For dessert I enjoyed the most divine profiteroles. While my husband, a chef, claims they are easy to make, he also confesses they could be easy to mess up. These cream puffs were truly soft and heavenly. My husband's step-mother enjoyed a delicious smelling coffee-ice cream/mousse concoction that she described as ''silky smooth.'' While the wait for food is a little long for anyone coming hungry (and there is bread before your meal), it is well worth it and the ambiance is that of a true Parisian haunt. If you are looking for a bit of European culture on the Cape Fear Coast, please come visit Caprice Bistro.
