The sandpeddler has a great look and a great location all wrapped into one. The building and rooms are beautiful (not to mention the view)! It is very family oriented and peaceful. It is seconds away from the beach as well as great dining. They even provide off the street, private parking for each room. I would highly recommend a stay if you are going to be in the area. It is a true home away from home....''

''We stayed on one of the lower floors, and close to the elevator. The view of the surf is great even from the lower floors. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen is tiny but certainly usable, the furniture well-kept. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. ''It is a very nice hotel for a very affordable price (we did get card discount). We have stayed here several times when visiting Wilmington, and really have no complaints at all for any of the times we spent at this hotel. I normally do not like hotels which are next to busy highways or roads, but with the inside rooms, I did not hear any noise for the street. Since I am a very light sleeper, this is a big plus for me. And, the contential breakfast was very adequate....''
