Beautiful setting, Hit or Miss Food

We were there on 10/31/08 with my in-laws who were visiting Topsail for the first time. I ordered the shrimp & grits and they were just ok. There were 4 small shrimp in my serving and for $21 I thought that was too skimpy. The grits were flavorful but too thick and stiff for my taste. My mother-in-law had the stuffed flounder which she said was good and my father-in-law had a salad and the fried oyster appetizer which was very good. The service was slow and when we finally asked for a bread basket, we were told it was being baked but when it arrived they were stone cold. I've had a good meal there in the past so maybe just an off night.

Excellent food, excellent view

We enjoyed a wonderful meal with family. There is quite a variety on the menu and the grandkids did find things they liked. The sunset was outstanding, the food excellent and a good value for the price. We had a wonderful time and will certainly go back again.

Wonderful sunsets

In addition to wonderful food, our family enjoyed an outstanding sunset view while dining. The menu has a good variety sure to please even the most picky eater like my granddaughter. The service was excellent and we were not rushed but casually enjoyed our meal.
