South Wind has the very best location. It is located next to the pier and the best restaurants. I have been going to South wind for 12 yrs and have always had great service. Will be returning in July and Oct. Thanks so very much!!!!!

Won't be coming back

I won't be bringing my family back to South Wind Motor Inn because: After coming there for over 35 years with my family. They won't let anyone bring pets. You know that when the kids grow up a lot of us get a pet. Well as far as I am concerned a good pet is almost the same as your child and not near as messy. I'm sorry you won''t change your mind. It is your loss.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. IT IS RIGHT ON THE BEACH AND DIRECTLY BESIDE OF KURE PIER. THE OWNERS ARE SPECTACULAR! YOU COULDNT ASK FOR A BETTER PLACE TO STAY. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE I WAS A CHILD AND NOW , WITH MY CHILD. YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

was there in MAY for 3 days & coming back in SEPT. for 4 could live there in a heartbeat .the people are great service was excellent location is the best what i really like is not having to watch out for animal waste everywhere. its not the animals fault its their ''parents''. i really am looking forward to returning. love being able to lay in bed & watch the sunrise or walk in the surf at sunset.its a very low price for such a wonderful experience !

all my fishing gear was stolen in the motels parking lot.was not fenced in as it should have been,;plus all my cameras a 35mm pentax was stolrn as well no more of this motel.
