The best food in town!

I live 4 hours away - this is the only place we eat at. The best food and price. The breakfast is like home cooking! We can't wait to go back in a few weeks to the beach, so we can eat at the Old Pier House - um um good!

I have been to most all the resturants on pleasure island. I must say, the quality and value can't be beat. Great staff, seaffod, burgers and even best breakfast on the beach.

Great job old pier house staff!

Best family restaurant in all catagories

We're Oak Island residents who found the OPR by accident but return frequently for breakfast and lunches. Quality excellent and prices family friendly. A favorite is to bring visitors to OPR for lunch via the Fort Fisher Ferry for a great outing.

The Old Pier House...fantastic food

The Old Pier House restaurant is unbelievably good. A lot of people I know love to go to Big Daddy's restaurant...but in my opinion, The Old Pier House outshines Big Daddy's by far...and the prices are much more reasonable.

My Grandmother used to own this

A great place for locals and vistiors...was rasied eating in here when my grandmother used to owe it..fried hot dog with cheese and mayo...good hushpuppies too!! Over all a great place to eat and look at Kure Pier.

A small place at the waters edge, with a great view and a cozy atomosphere. Great food and the prices are wonderful. The Pictures on the walls are landmarks of the pier from years earlier.
