We wanted to have a seafood meal and didn't really know about any restaurants in the area. We chose Michael's by chance and what a great decision! We all ordered the ''Galley Special'' which is a combination of your choice of ''Fish of the Day'' (tuna, tilapia and mahi mahi were yesterday's choices) ... the meal also came with shrimp, scallops mixed vegetables and rice. All were delicious, and portions were generous! We also had the crab dip as an appetizer. Service was good, and we sat on the screened patio and had an enjoyable and relaxing visit during lunch. Would definitely return next time I'm in the area! | |

I thought it was great, we were seated quickly, even though we were told there was a long wait. The waitress was fast and attentive. The food was excellent and the atmosphere cozy. | |

| A True Disappointment | | By a Guest Reviewer | | We had lunch at Michael's while visiting Carolina Beach last weekend. Our waitress was far more interested in two gentleman, that were most likely regulars, than she was in us. The service was horrible; she was rude and unattentive. The food was average. This was a first and last. | |
