You must have breakfast at Dawns! The food, simple atmoshere, and great waitresses make this an event not to be missed. The portions are generous, the coffee cup is always full ,the hash browns just right- and on and on.Its worth the trip if you don't live on Pleasure Island.

Great down-home cooking!

My dad and I were going four-wheeling at Fort Fisher and on the way stopped at Dawn's for breakfest. I had the best omelet, grits and toast ever! Everyone was was warm and welcoming that I had a good time there. The place is small, but very cozy. They serve breakfest, lunch and dinner, I'd definitely recommend it to everyone! Also, for all you partiers with hangovers, they serve tomato juice for breakfest!
