''The Parkerton Inn is located close to Emerald Isle beaches, and just a few miles from Barrier Island Kayaks in Swansboro, NC. Great place to stay for a kayak symposium.
The motel is clean, quiet, rates are reasonable, and if you get a room close to the office, or go sit in one of the comfortable chairs in the lobby (or on the sidewalk at night), you can access thier wireless internet to check your email or upload files on a working vacation.

''I cannot say enough great things about the Sand & Surf Inn. I just stayed there the weekend of July 14th. It was very clean and roomy, but still had that local cozy feel, and only a block from the beach. I fell in love with it, and I will be back soon! The owners were so polite and sweet. The only negative at all I could say is that the AC unit was a bit loud, so bring ear plugs. Other than that, everything was WONDERFUL! Thanks a bunch!...''
