It was very clean and roomy, but still had that local cozy feel, and only a block from the beach. I fell in love with it, and I will be back soon! The owners were so polite and sweet. The only negative at all I could say is that the AC unit was a bit loud, so bring ear plugs. Other than that, everything was WONDERFUL! Thanks a bunch!...''

''I have been going to the beach pretty much every summer since I was about 8 years old (I am now 34). There are numerous places I have stayed on the crystal coast of North Carolina, and to me Summer Winds is the best by far. The only real inconvenience is that most of the local grocery stores and such have closed, so you have to drive a distance if you need to step out to get anything. The grounds are well kept and patrolled by security gaurds. The pools are great, and there are plenty of excerci...''
