''The staff here is awesome. So friendly and ready to make you comfortable. Pool is huge and the water was so blue! The continental breakfast had waffles, french toast, omelets and sausage gravy, which I personally loved! It was a good value all the way around. The rooms looked newly remodeled with beautiful granite vanities and nicely tiled floors in the bathroom. Be sure to say hi to Jim, who runs the place. Nice gentleman....''
''I like the Days Inn at Atlantic Beach. Room is good sized, with a nice seating area with table and sofa. Always has been a pleasant place to stay, and reasonably priced for a beach area lodging.
Couple of improvements I would suggest would be to have a microfridge (not just a refrigerator) in each room and internet access (no wireless or high speed available)...''

''5063 Executive Dr.; Morehead City, NC location: The main reason I chose this hotel in the region was because it was pet friendly - and it was very pet friendly ! The staff was extremely warm, friendly and accomodating. The location was ideal - app. 5 mins from the Atlantic beach. The value was unbeatable. I'd do it 10 times over....''

''My family has vacationed in EI, NC for 10+ years. We will NEVER forget 2003. Our ''farewell dinner'' was at the Clamdigger. My sister-in-law had the Chicken Parm. Took 1.5 hours to bring out the food, service was horrible, bill was $120.00 for 4 adults, 1 child (no drinks- we're driving home.) By the time we returned to our rental, my SIL was puking. We called the restaurant, and they said, ''You can't prove it was us.'' Classy! We moan at the memory each year as we drive past this horrible plac...''
''We stayed here for a long weekend June 2005.... and had a wonderful time. The hotel is not your typical beach hotel..... it is VERY nice. The rooms are clean and very large. The morning breakfast was a wonderful treat... and coffee in the lobby 24 hours was great.
The hotel is across the street from the beach, but still very close. We will be back.... in a few weeks!...''

''Renovation completed end of May, 2007. Budget Inn is no more. Property in now Island Inn of Atlantic Beach and is a beautiful addition to Atlantic Beach. All rooms have designer interiors, tile floors, granite counters, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, coffee maker. Pool is new, parking lot repaved, new everything....''
