Tidewater Gallery, located in the historic district of downtown Swanboro, is well known for its eclectic collection of fine art and fine crafts from local and nationally known artists. The gallery's emphasis is on representational artwork in traditional media: oils, watercolors, stone sculpture, ceramics and fiber art. Tidewater Gallery also features a large collection of metal art and Peruvian pottery.

The gallery is open year round, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday. Hours are limited to weekends only in January and February.
