The food is great and we love the 50's decor. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Yeah maybe you have to wait a while...but it's worth it. | |

There isn't enough seating or enough wait staff for the busy times. Otherwise, it's pretty good. Strange 1950's Rock thing as far as the menu and ambiance. Noisy for some people, but we enjoyed it. Food is nothing special, but not poorly done either. Expect burgers and fries and not much else. The food is how fast food should be, but this was very slow because it was so busy as well as being a sit-down restaurant. We don't like overly sweet food, so the deep-fried fruit fritters were not for us. There really aren't a lot of choices to eat at in downtown Swansboro. | |

DON'T order the fritters unless you like over sugared fried fruit. Although I did enjoy the omelet, and the prices were fair. | |

There are no words to describe their fritters!! We talk about them year round - and wish we lived closer. We've had breakfast and lunch here and have NEVER been disappointed by the food or the friendly staff. Thank you!! | |

We obviously have different tastes. I have had better food at Denny's, and not had to wait 30 minutes just to get a seat. Pancakes were pre-mixed, all condiments on the table will still be around til the next ice age with all of the preservatives. Maple Syrup? Nope, corn syrup. Stocked food is tranferred from the back of the restaurant to kitchen by the industrial/fishhouse looking-dirty bathrooms that are constantly being opened and closed right at our table. Loud atmosphere for breakfast. | |
