''A few years ago, my family stayed here, we were driving around, and found it. The rooms really need fixed up and modernized badly. But, it was clean, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, and made the entire stay so enjoyable. The restaraunt is awesome. We didn't leave the whole week we were there. We are definetly coming back soon. This motel is very difficult to find on the web though....''

I have been to both of the Lowes stores mentioned in that review and MUCH prefer the Cape Carteret location....it is cleaner and better organized, the produce, deli, and bakery departments are fantastic, and I have never had a problem with them being low on the grocery items I wanted. They actually have a better selection than most of the grocery stores in this area. The service has always been efficient and friendly....''
