The WORST fried seafood around!!!!!!!

This place sucks! What a total RIP OFF! The fried seafood tastes like it is made hours earlier, then microwaved and to top it off a plate costs $16! NOT RECOMMENDED! Find your fried seafood elsewhere unless you like it old, tough, and overpriced.

Best food in Salter Path. Period

2 hotdogs all the way and a small shrimp burger please. Could live on this menu forever! Buy a bottle of Big Oak hot sauce from Jamie and put 3-4 drops on that shimp burger and you will think you found something better than ___. Only negative is closed in December.

I have been going to the Big Oak since 1983 if not a few years before. They have the best shrimp burgers - if you have never had one, it is a must. I have moved from NC to Ohio and the things I miss the most are right around this place. Fantastic!! Try this place. Everything they serve is great.

We have been visiting the crystal coast many years and The Big Oak is always the best! We have taken friends and family that are still talking about it. I gave ambiance 5 stars because sometimes at he beach it's not about how nice the dining room is, here you pull up, order at one window, pickup at the other, DONE! Tailgate it or return to your spot. I haven't had anything that wasn't just wonderful!
