Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Adding new reviews is currently disabled while we work on launching a new website.

The worst service ever! Will never go back!
By me on 1/22/2009
We had a party of 16. This was the 2nd time we've been there. This particular time several of us had all u can eat. It took forever to get seconds. One of the ladies in our party had a seafood platter, it was the same size as one of my kids ''kid'' meals, but the price was outrageous. For my family to eat there, 7 of us, 2 adult meals, 5 kid meals, it was over $100.00. Too much money!! Not enough food!! The kid chicken nugget meal was dino nuggets you can buy at walmart, but they charged $7.00.

The best fried seafood portions
By Guest on 12/29/2008
I am originally from eastern / coastal North Carolina and when I visit home (from southern California) I always make time to visit Frost's. Especially during soft shell crab season - just thinking of the large portions with hush puppies and cole slaw brings tears of appreciation to my eyes. All of their seafood wether broiled or fried is truly not a lunch or dinner opportuunity to be missed.

I can't believe they can stay in business.
By an NCBeaches Guest on 7/20/2008
I was one of ten people that dined at Frost's on 7/15/08. None of us had a decent meal. The fried oysters were slimy; the mahi mahi was tough and fishy; the clams were tough and dry. It was so stunningly bad that we didn't even bother to complain.

I took 4 girls and a friend there on Spring Break in April. We were all looking forward to a good seafood lunch. Not Here!! We were told lunch was served at 11:00 am.We got there about 11:15. had to wait for 30 mins. until they decided to start lunch. It was really bad.Food was only Warm.No refills on tea, service and food all in all bad.Complaining does no good there.I guess they donot care if the customers are satisfied or not. They've just lost six more !

Disappointed also
By Guest on 6/18/2008
We have eaten at Frost a couple of times. The food is over priced and their attitude is so so. We live in Washington, NC and go to the beach often. We have had good meals at Frost and we have also had times we just wanted to walk out of the place. The wait staff changes often so I can't blame them for that but the owners seem to have an attitude. I saw a couple complain and all they were given was a dollar of the price for each meal. This seems standard fro them. We only eat crab legs there now as the other places are gone now. Their crab legs are good but you do have to ask for seasoning on them. Their tea is good when you can get refills.

Disappointing
By Bill&Lorraine Jester on 10/21/2007
Near top of the list for worst dining experience ever! Food was lukewarm, not seasoned. (We were advised after meal was delivered, that seasoning must be requested).Soup was served after meal delivered. Complained about meal; sent back and ordered different item. Was charged full price for both entres. After complaining, owner reduced price by a dollar. The next trip to the area, the only way I would return to this restaurant, would be if I were hog tied and unconscious.

We have stayed at the Oak Grove Motel right across the street from here. It's close and very good food. We will be back this year.
