The dumplings are good relative to almost any other place I've had anywhere further east of Raleigh and the rice isn't overly soft like it's been steaming in a hot pot for a few hours too long - tends to happen at too many places. The food was great and you eat as much as you want for under $10 for dinner. This includes grill items like steak and filet with bacon. Your biggest problem here is choosing what you will eat so they don't have to roll you out of the restaurant! : )...''

''We used to dine at the Gourmet Cafe regularly until they changed their menu. Most of the pasta dishes were removed. I was so disappointed at how many of the dishes were changed that I actually didn't find anything I wanted to order. I ended up getting something I normally wouldn't have ordered. The dish was very good; however, I probably won't be back because I miss the seafood pasta dishes. Best of luck to the restaurant....''

''I vacationed on the Crystal Coast in the summer of 2007. I found this little place and almost passed it by. It looks kind of dumpy but WHO CARES? The food is absolutely amazing (try the szechuan lo mein with pork, it's to die for) and it is VERY cheap. I got a 'quart' of the lo mein (I actually got WAY more than a quart!) for less than $7. A must....''
