Onboard Collection Cruise

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: All aboard for a trawl and dredge excursion in coastal waters to see what comes up in our nets. Ages 6 and up. $25.00 per person.
July 2008 dates for the cruise are: July 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31. The cruise will also be offered in August on the following dates: August 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28.

Learn to Surf with the North Carolina Aquarium
Wednesday, July 02, 2008 - Wednesday, July 30, 2008 (10am - 1pm)
NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Learn to catch some waves in the North Carolina surf with the Aquarium's surfboards and expert instructions. Ages 10 and up. $25 per person.
Dates of lessons are July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. This event is also offered in August; dates are August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27.
July Family Nights at the Aquarium
Thursday, July 03, 2008 - Thursday, July 31, 2008 (6pm - 9pm)
NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores will offer “Family Nights” on Thursdays, July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
Each “Family Night” features a different theme and offers fun activities for all ages. During “Family Nights” the Aquarium extends its hours until 9 p.m.
River Cruise with the North Carolina Aquarium

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Keep a sharp eye out for birds, bottlenose dolphins and other marine life during this enjoyable, calm-water cruise. Ages 6 and up. $25 per person.
This event is held on the following dates: July 7, 14, 21 and 28. Call the Aquarium for tour times.
Aquatic Adventurers Summer Camp

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Young campers learn about coastal habitats and the animals that depend on them through discovery labs, animal feeding opportunities and outdoor excursions. $150 per session.
Sea Scholars Summer Camp- Session 2

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Fishing trips, kayak excursions through backwater marshes, onboard collection cruises and behind-the-scenes activities are on the agenda. $150 per session.
Session 1 of this series will be held from July 7-11, 2008.

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Explorers discover the world of aquatic life hidden under the surface through canoe trips, onboard collection cruises and behind-the-scenes activities. $150 per session.
18th Annual Surf Fishing Workshop
Friday, October 17, 2008 - Saturday, October 18, 2008
NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Get a line on surf fishing from the experts during this hands-on course that covers rods, reels, weights, line, tackle, knots, bait, cast netting, reading the surf and caring for the catch, culminating with a surf fishing trip to Cape Lookout.

Trick Or Treat Under the Sea

NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores: Come explore the haunted sea for a howling good time. An aquatic twist makes this Halloween festival a real treat for all ages. Enjoy trick-or-treating and other fun and games throughout the Aquarium. Special admission price: $5 per person, ages 2 and under free.
