North Carolina BBQ...keep that in mind...

My husband and I are stationed in the area and he likes it quite a bit. Unfortunately, my Texas Roots...still cannot accept this as BBQ... sighs... if they would have called it anything else I would like it...just stubbornI guess. The food is actually really good. My favorite is the Brunswick Stew. My husband likes the BBQ Pork. The ONLY BBQ they serve is the pork...no brisket, sausage, ribs etc. The BBQ is a vinegar based ''sauce''. Try it and write your own review on NC BBQ!

Fast Food Fabulous

My husband and I have our ''dare night'' at Smithfield beciase we are guaranteed a great meal at an affordable price. The all you can drink tea, great BBQ, wonderful Brunswick stew and tender chicken make it a must eat dining place if you are in Morehead City

Pros: great service/ plenty of food
Cons: none
excellent bbq; more food that I could finish; there was no fat in the bbq and you get ample side dishes; service was impeccable; everything tasted perfect!
