Cafe Zito is a ''Mediterranean Fine Dining Restaurant in Downtown Morehead City.'' It is a dynamic restaurant serving a fusion of local and Mediterranean cuisine. Their goal is to provide intriguing, excellent food inspired by the best seasonal products. A small, flexible menu enables Cafe Zito to take advantage of the best local seasonal products and incorporate them into healthy, creative dishes in the Mediterranean tradition. The restaurant seats 40 people inside, and an additional 16 on the beautiful porch. Café Zito is open Thursday through Monday for dinner from 5:30 until 10:00. | 5-star favorite | | By a Guest Reviewer | | After coming to this area for more than 20 years, I have eaten in probably every restaurant in Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach and the rest. This summer we heard great things about a new restaurant called Cafe Zito and tried it out. It was wonderful. We had delicious Mediterranean appetizers and local seafood that was so fresh and prepared perfectly. We just visited the area again and went back twice. The food was even better. Now that they have been open for close to year, they are getting really popular with the locals and people like us who visit a lot. But, the owners are still as charming and personable with the customers as ever. Highly, highly recommended! | |

It's an old historic house decorated with warm colors and local artwork hangs on the walls. The waitstaff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and especially helpful with choosing a wine. Everything about the place was terrific. It's like a restaurant you would hope to discover hidden away in a big city like NYC and only the locals know about it. | |
