Room is good sized, with a nice seating area with table and sofa. Always has been a pleasant place to stay, and reasonably priced for a beach area lodging.
Couple of improvements I would suggest would be to have a microfridge (not just a refrigerator) in each room and internet access (no wireless or high speed available) | |

| We're Going back this Year! | | By a Guest Reviewer | Palm Suites, Atlantic Beach is a wonderful place to stay, the service is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and several offer a beautiful view of the sound.
In the mornings you can partake of a wonderful continental breakfast, while being greeted at the front door by a group of ducks and ducklings, enjoy your breakfast, inside,on the patio, or outside under the boardwalk pavillion.
The pool provides a fantastic place to relax and soak up the sun,
The Location is perfect for any beach goer,
activites abound in the sound, pier fishing and charter boat fishing are close by, historical tours of Fort Macon is right down the road, Visit one of NC best attraction, the aquarium, We visit the area every year and always make it a point to stay here, we cant wait for our vacation this year! | |

| Best Value/Great Place! | | By a Guest Reviewer | Nice sound view, close to the beach, VERY reasonable rates, pleasant staff AND a pool overlooking the sound. Can't be beat for the price, and close to shopping, food, and grocery store. Fridge was very handy for my wife and child (2 years)as was the microwave.

| We always stay here! | | By a Guest Reviewer | Great location, within walking distance of beach, shopping & great places to eat! Nice view of the sound water. Boat slips are a plus for us, we always bring our boat! Boardwalk to boat slips has a covered picnic table area, nice to sit there as the sun goes down or to fish! Our kids love the pool!
Lay out of the rooms is nice when you are bringing children or friends. A double bed room (room with 2 beds) is divided by a desk/dresser; but unique because the bed area nearest the balcony is sunk down...which provides privacy for persons in either bed without using a wall. Use of a wall to divide these areas would make the room feel small & closed in. Great design in my opinion.
Only improvement i'd like to see made is additional washers & dryers placed, wait time to use them is terrible. I like to go home from my vacation with all laundry done!
