| Value: |  | Service: | | | | Wonderful little store with the nicest owner. | | By Kaye & Tom on 8/4/2008 | My boyfriend & I had gone to Beaufort for the day shopping and sightseeing. Luckly for us we parked right in front of The Peddler. We went in there frist and looked around - he had some very beautiful items - but we didn't buy anything then. So, we do the rest of the stores and in my mind I'm remembering a couple of things I saw at the Peddler's that I wanted to get and we decide we're done for the day. Well, while I'm inside the store my boyfriend goes out to start the truck and cool it off. It won't start !! The owner of The Peddler was so nice - he called around for us to get a tow truck, but it being Sunday and late in the afternoon, no luck. Well I forgot all about the items - but the owner helped us find a place to stay for the night,and a number for the tow truck and even who to take it to.
The next day we walked back to main street and walked around and ended up back at The Peddler's and I got my items and the truck got fixed. The friendlyness of the owner is what made this store #1 for me. His store is very cool and his prices were very reasonable. If we ever go back to Beaufort we will defiantly go and see the Peddler !! I hope we go back soon I really loved his items - they were different than what you see in most beachfront stores, there's the usual things, but he also had some very unusual items.
